This site has specific information for paintball and airsoft games. What's the difference you ask? Basically, paintball games use ammunition that marks the opposing player and airsoft doesn't. However, there are other differences too. Paintball markers (guns) are less realistic and airsoft guns look like real guns. Also, since paintball markers actually mark the opposing player, there are fewer questions concerning whether a player has been eliminated. While some players prefer the more realistic look and feel of airsoft guns it may not be for everyone, such as younger players.
